Health & Safety Policy

The I.C.T. Department's policy for 'Health & Safety' is consistent with, and so reinforces, the 'Health & Safety' policies of the School , which seek to promote safe and healthy working conditions, behaviour and procedures.

Much of our Health & Safety policies are written in close liason with the Maintenace Department and the with the Network Manager. However, as part of our active role in this procedure our department follows an internal programme of assessment and all members of the Department recognise their duty:

To take care of their own 'Health & Safety' and the 'Health & Safety' of others who may be affected by their actions  To be familiar with this policy and that of the School  To co-operate with the School Management in promoting 'Health & Safety'  To report damaged equipment/hardware or ineffective safety systems as soon as possible to the Head of Department.
